ECELC Concrete Parking and Sidewalk Project - Invitation to Bid

LEGAL NOTICE INVITATION TO BID

Bids will be received for Concrete Parking and Sidewalk Project at 924 Crescent Ave., Ellwood City, PA 16117, by Allied Coordinated Transportation Services, Inc. (ACTS) 241 West Grant Street, New Castle, PA 16101. Final Bids shall be accepted until 2:00 pm local time on the 8th day of May, 2017 at Allied Coordinated Transportation Services, Inc. 241 West Grant Street, New Castle, PA 16101.

Said bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:15 pm local time on the 8th day of May, 2017 at Allied Coordinated Transportation Services, Inc. 241 West Grant Street, New Castle, PA 16101. Any interested or participating contractor may request a visit to the site by arrangement with ACTS prior to May 5th, 2017.

Bid Documents are on file and may be obtained at the offices of Allied Coordinated Transportation Services, Inc. 241 West Grant Street, New Castle, PA 16101. One (1) set of Bidding Documents will be provided to any interested contractor.

Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Decision is required; therefore, attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages, as determined by the Secretary of Labor for the type of work described, is in accordance with Executive Order 11246, as set forth in the contract documents, will be necessary.

All bidders are advised of the notice of requirements for affirmative action to ensure equal employment opportunity (Executive Order 11246).

Minority Business Enterprise and/or Women Business Enterprise owned firms and individual minority and female professionals are encouraged to participate. Attention is called to the fact that employees and applicants for employment may not be discriminated against because of race, color, age, religion, sex, disability, or national origin.

Allied Coordinated Transportation Services, Inc. reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids or bidding procedures.

Bids may be held for a period of not to exceed 120 days from the opening day of the bids for the purpose of their review prior to the awarding of the contract.

Bids must be sealed and marked “Concrete Parking and Sidewalk Project” and addressed to Allied Coordinated Transportation Services, Inc., Attn: James Farris, Jr., 241 West Grant Street, P.O. Box 189, New Castle, PA 16103.
