INVITATION TO BID
Bids will be received for the County of Lawrence’s Family Wellness Program, Public Facility Improvement Project included under the County of Lawrence Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) CV 3 Discretionary implemented by Lawrence County Social Services, Inc. (LCSS). Final Qualified Sealed Bids shall be accepted until 3:00 PM on Thursday, December 15, 2022, and such said qualified bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud in LCSS’s boardroom located at 241 West Grant Street New Castle, PA 16101. Each Qualifying Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, payable to Lawrence County Social Services, Inc., in the amount equal to 10% of the total bid, comply with Davis- Bacon and Related Acts and Section 3 Minority Business Enterprise and/or Women Business Enterprise.
A Mandatory Pre-Bidding Meeting shall be held at 1745 Frew Mill Road New Castle, PA 16101 Building #6 at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 8, 2022. All bidders will be required to have picked up their bid packages prior to this meeting. A Questionnaire and Pre-Qualification Statement accompanies the Bid Documents and all documents pertaining to the pre-qualifying process shall be due at this mandatory pre-bid meeting to participate in this bidding procedure.
Bid Documents may be obtained at the offices of Lawrence County Social Services, Inc. at 241 West Grant Street, New Castle, PA 16101. One (1) set of Bid Documents will be provided to Contractors for a fee of $5.00 payable to Lawrence County Social Services, Inc. for each hard copy set obtained. This fee is non-refundable.
Bids must be sealed and marked “FMC Drywall and Painting Project” and addressed to Lawrence County Social Services, Inc. at 241 West Grant Street, New Castle, PA 16101.
