LCCAP is the powering sponsor of the Lawrence County SportsNet. The broadcasting network provides quality coverage of local student-athletes to enhance the recognition of youth in and around Lawrence County. LC SportsNet is designed to help students receive positive exposure for their achievements in athletics, the arts, and education.
The Lawrence County SportsNet is scheduled to broadcast over 100 sporting and community events over the course of the 2021-22 school year. The video and audio streams will be available live or archived. Broadcasts include sporting events for all eight county schools and high school sports, as well as other school and community events over the course of the year, including the Lawrence County Band Festival.
These broadcasts also provides opportunities for students interested in journalism and digital media to get involved. Students throughout Lawrence County have opportunities to help create and edit digital content on LC SportsNet through their education classes and also with work-study opportunities at broadcasts being held at their school.
