SAFE Parenting Program:
Funded by Lawrence County Children & Youth Services (CYS), SAFE is a voluntary program for parents who have problems with substance abuse. SAFE will consist of both home visits and group meetings. Family Educators use evidence-based curriculum and case management techniques to facilitate these sessions. Referrals come directly through the county Children and Youth Services. Additionally, SAFE provides free weekly parenting classes for anyone who is interested.
