If you are in a housing crisis, LCCAP’s Emergency & Community Services Department remains open. However, out of abundance of caution, we have adjusted our service delivery procedures with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), PA Health Department(PA-DOH) and the variety of federal, state and local grantors.
If you are homeless, or going to be evicted within 14 days, please call our office at 724-658-7258 and Press 2. A staff member will discuss your situation with you over the phone, provide you with resources, and determine if you need to come into the office.
*New Online Registration Tool
Please visit this link HERE. This is the housing departments new online registration tool. It allows people to inquire about housing services and provide us important information needed in determining eligibility for programs. Intakes will still be conducted over the phone, but this tool will allow our case managers to be more prepared, collect some information ahead of time (which will speed up the overall interview), and have the proper contact information needed to follow up with any questions!
We have various rental assistance programs that have different criteria that may be able to help.
If you or someone in your household were laid off during the pandemic or can prove you were financially impacted by the pandemic, you should start by applying through the states COMPASS website:
https://www.compass.state.pa.us/compass.web/Public/CMPHome
Go to the section that states Emergency Rental Assistance Program and click on the get started link. You do not need to log into the system to apply. Your application will be routed back to our office to process.
If you were not laid off or cannot prove you were financially impacted by the pandemic, please complete this link and a case manager will contact you for an intake:
