LCCAP was recently honored with a visit from George E. Cornelius, Secretary of the Department of Community and Economic Development. Secretary Cornelius performed the Ribbon Cutting to mark the successful completion of Phase 2 of the LCCAP GreenWorks Training Initiative, a collaborative effort between Lawrence County Community Action Partnership, the Department of Public Welfare, West Central Job Partnership, the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency, LCCAP's Senior Employment Program, and others.

The GreenWorks Training Initiative was created to provide "Green" education and training to subsidized workers, while at the same time providing much needed repairs and renovations to public facilities and low-income home owners throughout Lawrence County.
